Traditional japanese residence with office by Edward Suzuki Architecture
The Firm on the bluff is a very beautiful residence located in the Yamate district of Yokohama, Japan. It'due south an interesting structure that actually includes a main residence and an attached studio office. The two volumes are nicely combined and they form a compact and uniform structure. The projection was developed by Edward Suzuki Architecture and it was completed in 2012.
View in gallery The proper name of this project and of the residence itself was inspired by the positioning of the building. Information technology's a firm sitting on a bluff from where it benefits from panoramic views of the surrounding landscape and the seaport city. In order to make information technology alloy in with the rest of the surrounding houses, the architects decided to paint this residence white. Information technology has a fresh and modern wait and it preserves the prototype created by the balance of the dwellings.

View in gallery An all-white house would have been too cold and intimidating and then another great idea was to add wooden louvers that create a beautiful colour contrast with the white façade while also calculation warmth to the design. Inside, the house features a serial of common areas on the footing floor that include a library with a curved wall and integrated shelving, a report area and a double-height living room. An internal window connects the master bedroom and the living surface area. Overall, the interior is very bright and modernistic. The wooden floors create continuity between the rooms simply still, each surface area is unlike and unique.{plant on designboom}.
